It has been very long since Riot Games has added a new duelist to the game. With a new act approaching, the developers have now confirmed that a new duelist will be making its way to Valorant by the end of 2023. The dev team has also revealed a few pieces of information about the upcoming Valorant Agent 24, whose actual name is yet unknown to us. Here is everything that we know so far about the upcoming agent of Valorant.

Riot Games has already confirmed that the next agent of Valorant will be released before 2023 ends. Furthermore, the devs have posted a new State of the Agents video, where they shared slight details about the upcoming agent of the game. From the information shared by the dev team, we know that the upcoming agent is going to be a Duelist hailing from a country based in Asia. This would make the next agent the seventh duelist of the game.
Riot Games did not share anything more about the new agent other than its role in the game. However, they have posted some teasers, which give us a lot of hints about the upcoming agent. In the State of the Agents blog post, Riot Games has posted a bowl of hotpot, which confirms that the agent will be from somewhere in Asia. Speculations say that it will be a Singaporean agent, as the devs have mentioned that it was greatly inspired by players like Paper Rex’s Jinggg, who is also Singaporean. Players have also spotted a teaser in the new Sunset map of Valorant. In the Defender Spawn of the Sunset map, a new purple glowing design was added by the developers.

All Agent 24 strengths and weaknesses in Valorant
Until now, we don’t know much about the upcoming agent’s abilities. However, some speculations in the community forums of Valorant say that the new Duelist will have an ability that will make it invincible or bulletproof. Although there are still no confirmations on the abilities of the agent, if the speculations are true, Valorant’s Agent 24 might as well be able to change the meta of the game.
Valorant Agent 24: Release date
Riot Games has not announced any release date for Valorant Agent 24. However, we already know that the new agent will be released within 2023. With Episode 7 Act 2 coming to an end on October 31st, we can expect that the new duelist will make its way to the game at the beginning of Episode 7 Act 3 in Valorant.
