A new PC title is in development based on a series of novels by one-man-best-seller-factory James Patterson.Women’s Murder Club: Death in Scarlet is set in San Francisco and begins with the discovery of a woman’s body beneath the Golden Gate Bridge. Players must choose to play as one of three main characters: homicide detective Lindsay Boxer; medical examiner Claire Washburn; or crime reporter Cindy Thomas. Curiously, the game does not give you the chance to play as the fourth member of the WMC, Assistant District Attorney Jill Bernhardt.Players must scoure the city for clues, analyse crime scenes, interrogate witnesses and perform lab work in order to solve the nine “challenging investigations” on offer and unravel the plot, written by Patterson himself. The game is due for release on PC on 1 May.
