Fortnite Mythic Ray Gun Zyg And Choppy

Fortnite Season 7 has kept some fan favorite guns in the rotation, while introducing some brand new ones to the weapon pool. This includes mythic weapons which are extremely powerful. However, to get your hands on these, you will have to put up a fight first. Obtaining the Mythic Ray Gun in Fortnite can be done by eliminating the Zyg and Choppy boss.

You can find the Zyg and Choppy Fortnite boss at Hydro 16. The landmark is the building below dam to the east of Slurpy Swamp. Adding the Mythic Ray Gun to your inventory requires you to find and defeat the Zyg and Choppy mini boss. The boss roams around the main building at Hydro 16, just like Ruckus used to. Watch out, because once he spots you, he will start firing straight away.

Before you make your way inside the Hydro 16 building, you will want to get your hands on some loot first. Therefore, landing on the roof and making your way in through that route will allow you to open chests and get some loot. In addition, alien parasites have been known to spawn at Hydro 16. The parasites ability to boost your movement speed and jump height could help you in your fight against Zyg and Choppy.

How powerful is the Mythic Ray gun in Fortnite?

Once you have finally killed the boss, the Fortnite Mythic Zyg and Choppy Ray Gun will drop straight away. When firing the weapon, you will see that it does 12 damage to the body. If you hit the head, the weapon will deal 15 damage. Due to the high DPS of the Mythic Ray Gun, you should be able to take out your opponents in very little time.

Mythic weapons always prove to be popular when added into the mix. Fortnite Season 7 could feature more mythic weapons as the season progresses.
