LG to reveal new VR headset this week at GDC

In a brief email from Valve they have announced that LG is developing a new VR headset.

LG will unveil the new VR HMD at GDC in San Francisco this week. There’s not much else to go on at the moment but Valve do say it will offer “a high fidelity, next generation VR experience”.

A prototype of the new kit will be shown at the Valve’s GDC booth to collect feedback and pricing, launch dates, and territories will be announced, “at a later date”.

Good news for VR fanatics and it will be interesting to find out the specs of this new kit and how far it will push VR forward.
