Season Two of Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific introduced a range of new content. This came in the form of new areas to explore, two new weapon to equip to your loadout, and more. In January, the new season was delayed in favor of improving the state of the game. The developers have kept their promise and have continued to roll out regular updates. The latest Warzone Pacific patch makes changes to Vanguard Royale, while continuing to make bug fixes.
The biggest adjustment has been made to the Vanguard Royale playlist. As it re-enters the rotation, you will notice that core player health will be increased from 100 to 150. This means that if you have full health and armor plates, your total health pool jumps up to a whopping 300. Ultimately, this means that the time to kill in this playlist is going to be slower.
In addition, UAV’s have returned to buy stations, but for a higher price. They now cost $9,000, up from the previous $6,000. The aim of this change is to make UAV’s accessible without players being able to exploit them so much during a match.
Removing bugs lurking in weapon attachments
Apart from making changes to Vanguard Royale, the Warzone Pacific patch squashes some more bugs around Caldera. Notable fixes address an issue causing players to get stuck while laying prone under certain elements such as stairs. Also, a repair has been made to the VDD 189mm Short Barrel which was incorrectly affecting locational multipliers on the MP40. A further problem has been fixed with the Bren, which caused the Queen’s 705mm Royal Barrel to bypass its intended damage falloff. Despite this, the Bren light machine gun will still be a strong contender in the battle royale. An issue with the new Nebula V Rounds being able to penetrate riot shields has been addressed, as well as the visual effect on multiple launchers.
