How to complete Stolen Goods in Octopath Traveler 2

You can begin Stolen Goods by speaking to the Peddler in the east of Oresrush. He’ll be standing close to the right entrance that leads to the Abandoned Silver Mine. Speaking to the Peddler will reveal that he has had some goods stolen by a thief masquerading as an honest merchant.

To help out the Peddler, first head west and then north from the Peddler to reach Oresrush: Foundry. In the foundry, there will be a storage building on the left that is being blocked off by a Boorish Merchant. If you try to talk to the merchant, he’ll tell you to go away as he doesn’t want you damaging his “lawfully procured goods.” This Boorish Merchant is the culprit behind the Stolen Goods side story in Octopath Traveler 2.

To get inside the building, switch to nighttime and then use either Castti’s Soothe or Throné’s Ambush to knock out the Boorish Merchant. Once he is unconscious, enter the building and loot its lone chest for the Stocked Goods.

With the Stocked Goods in hand head back to the Peddler in east Oresrush. Speak to the Peddler and accept the prompt to hand over the Stocked Goods. Afterward, a cutscene will play with the Peddler thanking you for returning his goods. With that, you have completed Stolen Goods in Octopath Traveler 2 and will be rewarded 3,000 Leaves, x1 Light Nut, and x1 Healing Grape (M).
