FFXIV Patch 6.5 lands on a Custom Delivery patch, meaning we’re once again going to assist someone in need to level our crafters and gatherers for purple and white scrips. We’ve assisted Ameliance herself and a literal pile of leaves since Endwalker dropped, so who else could be in need of our help? This time, we’re back to helping Sharlayans with their problems. Here’s how to unlock Margrat Custom Deliveries in FFXIV.
FFXIV Magrat Custom Deliveries- starting location and NPC
We’ve returned from our brief foray back into Il Mheg with the last Custom Delivery questline, and instead we’re back to current storylines. This Custom Deliveries quest starts in Old Sharlayan with Theopauldin at (13.8, 15.0) with ‘A Request of One’s Own’. These coordinates are down by the Scholar’s Harbor Aetheryte next to where you arrived to Sharlayan from Limsa Lominsa.

You may or may not faintly remember Theopauldin from the base Endwalker Main Scenario Quests. He appeared during the level 88 quest chain in Labyrinthos. He’s the head of the Labyrinthos researchers, and now he’s back for another questline! Talking to him will begin the Custom Delivery questline and direct you to your next objective. Get ready for a questline not about a fae-turned man relearning his identity like last time, but instead about even worse horrors than fae magic: academia working conditions.
However, keep in mind the requirements for the quest unlock this time around are different than usual. To unlock Margrat Custom Deliveries, you have to have patch 6.4’s Main Scenario Questline completed, specifically the quest ‘Go Haam’. Otherwise, Theopauldin will not appear in the Harbor and you cannot do this new round of Custom Deliveries yet. So be sure to be caught up on your Main Scenario Quests before you get to improving Sharlayan’s horrific working conditions!
