How to get a free Lego skin in Fortnite

Everything is awesome!

The skins in Fortnite are something to look forward to. While they don’t give you any special abilities, they help you be more unique and make for interesting moments if you’re a content creator.

Lego and Fortnite have been teasing a collab for a minute now and it looks like it’s finally here. There’s tons of stuff for you to collect like a free Lego skin, and we’ll show you how to get it in Fortnite.

Fortnite: How to get a free Lego skin

The free skin you’ll be getting is called Expoler Emilie skin and will be available on December 7th when the Fortnite Lego mode is available. To learn how to get the skin, it’s easy, just follow along below.

  • First, you must sign in or sign up for the Lego Loyalty Insider Program.
  • Once you’ve accessed the program, go to the Epic Games website and log in.
  • After you’ve signed in, on the left-hand bar look for Apps and Accounts
  • Upon clicking this option, you should see a few choices to select. The Lego Account will be at the bottom. 
  • When you click the Lego Account, Epic will direct you to Lego’s website asking to connect it to Epic Games. 
  • Here you’ll press Allow which will link your Lego account to your Epic Games account.
  • In Fortnite, head to your locker, and the skin should be already there. 

Note, if you do this before December 7th, the skin won’t be available till then. Just make sure you do these steps before the deadline. Additionally, If you have any skins that have the Lego style, you may be able to use them right away. This is unconfirmed, but it wouldn’t hurt to try.

What else is coming with the Lego collaboration?

On top of the skin, there will be about 1,200 outfits with the blocky Lego style. So you can stand out with your favorite Fortnite star as a Lego character. However, expect more skins to drop as the season progresses.
