Bandai Namco apparently just can’t stop bringing Naruto titles to the PC, and you can now add Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 to that list. What, you don’t keep lists of Naruto PC releases around the house? Fine. Just me, then.
This announcement right here confirms the news and also makes the bold claim that Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 will be the most “comprehensive and electric” Naruto game ever. Ever.
I’m not sure what that might actually mean, other than giving you about 50,000 different characters to choose from. Rather than the usual 45,000 different characters.
This particular Naruto release is only coming to the newer consoles and PC, which is presumably why it’s promising “graphics that go beyond anime-quality.” I mean … that feels like kind of an odd marketing phrase to choose, but I suppose when the previous titles in your game series basically already look like the actual anime then you have to pretend that the Super Next-Gen-o-Vision version will totally look better.
Namco don’t seem to have a great deal more to say about Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 other than “the series’ trademark one-on-one multiplayer modes return for offline and online play” and that it’ll be out early in 2015. As the designated only-person-on-staff-who-knows-about-Naruto, I’m sure Tim can’t wait.
