All Futurama x Fortnite collab skins: Fry, Bender, Leela, and more

A match made in Heaven.

Fortnite always brings the heat with its collab’s and is set to do so yet again. Coming off the heels of the Marvel and Transformers collaborations, it seems Futurama is next on the menu. Each collab has been handled differently, but they often mean new skins are added to the game. On top of that, some even add brand-new weapons that completely change how players interact with the environment. More recently, we had the Transformers Cybertron Cannon and the Spiderman Web-Shooter, which offered unrivaled mobility. Are collab skins of Fry, Bender, Leela, and more going to be a part of this Futurama x Fortnite collab? We don’t know for sure, but we do know when everything should go live.

This collaboration is a little unusual as we typically know more in advance. For Futurama, the official Fortnite Twitter account has tweeted, “All Hail Hypnotoad 7.26.23.” along with a 3-second video clip.

There’s also a video titled “ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD ” set to premiere on the official Fortnite YouTube Channel on July 26, 2023.

Fortnite usually gets updates on Tuesdays, but well-known leaker Shiina has stated on Twitter that everything should go live on Wednesday instead. As with any leaks, it’s best to take them with a grain of salt, but everything we know so far points to this being correct. Shiina also mentions that the Kinetic Boomerang will return after a stint in the vault.

What’s coming in the Fortnite x Futurama collab?

We don’t have anything concrete yet, but we will likely have the full scoop when the video goes live. We can still hazard a guess on what might show up after the update. Skins of iconic characters like Leela, Bender, Fry, and Zoidberg are obvious choices. The Planet Express Ship (Old Bessie) could definitely be a Glider. The short clip on the Fortnite Twitter page shows Old Bessie crashing into a billboard in Mega City. Although this is no doubt a reference to the Futurama intro, I’d love to see it happen in-game.

As for any new weapons, it’s hard to say, but plenty of frogs are hopping around Rumble Ruins, Creeky Compound, and Shady Stilts. Hopefully, we will see the Hypnotoad make an appearance somewhere on the map or at least as a Back Bling. With the Kinetic Boomerang set to make a return, why not check out our guide on how to use them?
