All secret chest locations in Destiny 2 Starcrossed Exotic mission

Don't get crossed-eyed looking for these chests, just get star-crossed.

Like Dungeons and Raids, Destiny 2’s Starcrossed Exotic mission features secret chests. These chests in Destiny 2 are released weekly, can only be opened once a week for Undying weapon rewards, and are difficult to find.

How to find secret chests in Destiny 2 Starcrossed

Much like the Destiny 2 Season of the Wish’s Familiar Feline Triumph featuring hidden Starcats, the secret chests in the Starcrossed Exotic mission are tied to Triumphs and release weekly. Though you can open them as many times as you want, only the first open per week grants you one red border Undying weapon.

In total, there will be four secret chests to find in Destiny 2 Starcrossed. Currently, there is only one, but when more chests are added to the Exotic mission, I’ll update this article.

Destiny 2 Starcrossed Taranis’ Bounty secret chest #1

  • Destiny 2 Starcrossed Taranis Bounty Secret Chest 1
  • Destiny 2 Starcrossed Taranis Bounty Secret Chest 2
  • Destiny 2 Starcrossed Taranis Bounty Secret Chest 3

The first and only secret chest available right now in Destiny 2 Starcrossed is the Taranis’ Bounty Triumph secret chest. This one is found at the beginning of the mission. Start by continuing right as if you were starting the mission.

After leapfrogging forward, you’ll see a large “tree cave” entrance bathed in yellow light. Jump on the stones to the right of that until you are on the large tree branch. In the middle of this tree branch, look down and you’ll see a patch of grass-lit-up sprigs and bluish-green mushrooms between two tree branches.

Jump to that spot and walk into the cave. On the right is where you’ll find the first Destiny 2 Starcrossed secret chest.

Again, I’ll update this article when more secret chests are revealed. For now, we only have the first.

While you are searching for secret chests in the Starcrossed Exotic mission, you can also make progress toward unlocking all four Wish-Keeper Catalyst Refits.
