Diablo 4 is like a demonic wedding cake: built-in tiers of escalating splendor and difficulty. You can choose to stick to the lower tiers, tackling Cellars and side quests; move up to the middle, where Dungeons and Campaign quests await; or brave the third tier, where the game’s sinister Strongholds lie in wait.
These are essentially Dungeons set in the overworld, featuring tougher enemies and bosses than your average Dungeon, and more of a developed narrative as well. They represent some of the most significant early-game challenges Diablo 4 has to offer, and they also provide some of the most significant rewards, unlocking Waypoints, extra Dungeons, and side quests once you clear them. Where to find every Stronghold in Diablo 4
Fractured Peaks Stronghold Locations

- Nostrava – “A quiet mountain village with a sinister secret.”

- Location – On the western edge of Fractured Peaks, north of the Nevesk Waypoint.
- Rewards – Nostrava Waypoint, Cultist Refuge Dungeon, NPCs.
- Kor Dragan – “Once a bastion of the Knights Penitent, this desecrated fortress stands abandoned.”

- Location – At the northern tip of Fractured Peaks, northeast of the Menestad Waypoint.
