You may be looking for something specific in your aggro build, but hopefully, you can use this best loud build in Payday 3 guide as a jumping-off point to tweak a build you’re proud of. I’ll focus the build around shotguns as that’ll create the most successful loud aggro build, but you can use an assault rifle or whatever you feel comfortable with.

  • Tank
    • Tank – Increase the regeneration speed of your armor chunks by 20%. Your armor bag has two additional charges.
    • Extra Plates – Your armor bag has two additional charges.
    • Armor Up – Interacting with any armor bag will restore an additional chunk.
    • Last Man Standing – If damage would normally down you, you can instead consume available GRIT to stay alive and become immune to damage for 10 seconds. After this effect, you can’t get GRIT until you heal.
  • Enforcer
    • Enforcer – Whenever you kill two enemies within four seconds that are within five meters of you, you gain GRIT.
    • Quick Reload – As long as you have both GRIT and EDGE, you have increased reload speed.
    • Face to Face – As long as you have both GRIT and EDGE, you deal 10% extra damage to targets within five meters of you.
    • Solid – As long as you have GRIT and EDGE, you’re immune to stagger effects.
    • Shock & AWE – Killing an enemy within eight meters of you has a chance to stagger all non-Special enemies within five meters of you.
  • Ammo Specialist
    • Ammo Specialist – Your reserve ammo capacity is increased by 20%. Ammo bags you deploy have two additional charges.
    • Plate Up – As long as you have GRIT, ammo drops will instantly regenerate your current armor chunk.
  • Mower
    • Mower – Every 35 bullets you shoot, gain EDGE.
    • Ammo Fueler – As long as you have EDGE, ammo you pick up is directly added to your equipped weapon’s magazine. If your magazine is full, it’s added to your reserves.
    • Replenish – As long as you have EDGE, you automatically pick up ammo dropped by enemies you have killed.
    • Sprint Loader – You can reload while sprinting.
  • Gunslinger
    • Gunslinger – Whenever you switch your weapon, you gain EDGE. ADSing will end any EDGE you have active.
    • From the Hip – As long as you have EDGE, your hipfire spread is decreased.
    • Finisher – If you have EDGE, the last shot of your magazine will consume it and deal 200% more damage.
    • Quick Draw – Increase your weapon swap speed.

The goal of the best aggro build is to build up GRIT by killing multiple enemies that are close to you and build up EDGE by switching weapons often and shooting bullets. When you have GRIT, you won’t get downed thanks to Last Man Standing which helps you confidently aggro. When you have EDGE, you’ll reload much less often because of the Mower skills.

When you have both GRIT and EDGE, you’ll have increased reload, be immune to stagger, and deal extra damage. With these skills, you’ll be an unstoppable tank that doesn’t ever need to reload, deals tons of damage, and never gets downed.

Best aggro build loadout in Payday 3

Primary Weapon: Reinfeld 880
Secondary Weapon: Car-4
Deployable:
Armor Bag
Armor Lining: Heavy Ballistic Lining
Throwable: Frag Grenade
Tool: Motion Sensor

The best weapons you can have for this build are a solid shotgun like Reinfeld 880 and an assault rifle like Car-4. Feel free to use other shotguns and assault rifles, ones that you like better. You can also try pairing a shotgun with an SMG, but you’ll give yourself limited range and the SMGs aren’t that strong.

Use the Armor Bag to stay healthy and strong, the Heavy Ballistic Lining to tank bullets, the Frag Grenade to kill groups of enemies quickly, and the Motion Sensor when you need to keep an area locked down and want to cover all your bases.
