All ways to get Trophies of Bravery in Destiny 2

One of my favorite parts of Destiny 2 is how the game is built for you to feel smart. One way you can feel like a genius who is maximizing their time in Destiny 2 is to stack Bounties, Rank levels, and activities. This is also the best way to farm Trophies of Bravery.

Here are the three main ways to get Trophies of Bravery in Destiny 2:

  • Lord Shaxx’s Rank Rewards
    • Rank 3 – 10 Trophies of Bravery
    • Rank 7 – 20 Trophies of Bravery
    • Rank 11 – 10 Trophies of Bravery
    • Rank 13 – 10 Trophies of Bravery
  • Completing Into the Light Bounties acquired by Lord Shaxx and Arcite 99-40
  • Opening chests in Onslaught

While you have a chance to get Trophies of Bravery after completing any activity, which includes Crucible and Seasonal Activities, you have a higher chance of getting Trophies of Bravery through Onslaught, Into the Light Bounties, and Lord Shaxx’s Rank Rewards. If you complete all 50 waves of Onslaught, you’ll walk away with a good amount of Trophies of Bravery.

Before playing Onslaught, grab every Bounty from Lord Shaxx and Arcite 99-40. Look at the Bounties before you launch into Onslaught and adjust your loadout to allow yourself to complete as many Bounties as quickly as possible.

As you play Onslaught and complete Bounties, you’ll earn Hype which is Rank Reputation with Lord Shaxx in Hall of Champions. Additionally, you’ll be playing (and hopefully winning if you have the best build) Onslaught and opening chests which give you more Hype and Trophies of Bravery.

In Destiny 2, it’s often the case where you’ll be hitting two, three, four, or more birds with one stone. Roll all of your progress together to maximize your time as you work your way toward unlocking the Superblack Shader.
