Beta balls: PES 2014 gets a PC beta for 11 vs 11 mode

PES 2013 (6)
This is the sort of stuff you’ll be testing: shouting and waving.

Well, this is a bit of a strange one. The PC version of PES 2014 is already out (though we’re still waiting for a Steam key review copy because, err, it’s not actually on Steam yet … good work, Konami) but is getting a limited beta session for its 11 vs 11 multiplayer mode. That mode is due to be added in a patch in a month or so.

As far as I can tell you don’t need a copy of PES 2014 to sign up for this, and you can do so through the PESFan website. This is a bit odd too (betas and soforth normally go through official channels,) but this is all legit. You can read the announcement on PESFan’s own forum.

Places are limited to 1,000 people and this is a global beta, so you’d better act fast if you want a piece of that 11 vs 11 beta testing. In fact, the places may even have already gone – but it’s still worth a try, eh?
