The integration between Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War introduced new weapons to the battle royale. However, the QBZ-83 is not a weapon that has stood out in either Verdansk or Rebirth Island. You may recognize the QBZ-83 though, as it featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 where it was known as the Type 95.

The QBZ-83 is described as a fully-automatic assault rifle with high mobility and handling speed. When you first shoot the gun, the recoil can be difficult to control and the hip fire is not the most accurate. With the best attachments equipped, you can maximize some of the best features the weapon has to offer.

Call of Duty: Warzone QBZ-83 class

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor

  • Barrel: 15.5” Reinforced Heavy

  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip

  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x

  • Magazine: STANAG 60 Round Drum

To begin, the Agency Suppressor will ensure your shots are hidden from the mini map. At the same time, it will boost damage range which is an important feature of an assault rifle. Next, using the 15.5” Reinforced Heavy Barrel will give you the best effective damage range, while improving your bullet velocity. Following this, the Field Agent Grip underbarrel is also beneficial, as it improves both horizontal and vertical recoil control.

In terms of an Optic, the Axial Arms 3x is one of the most effective when taking on gunfights, especially at long ranges. To maximize the ammunition of your Warzone QBZ-83, you should equip the STANAG 60 Round Drum attachment. This will ensure you have more than enough ammunition to take on multiple gunfights without having to reload.

As the QBZ-83 is a long range weapon, you should pair it with a gun that is ready to take on close-range gunfights. You may want to choose a submachine gun or a shotgun depending on your play style.
