Overwatch

Overwatch is given to you by Panam after you complete the Riders on the Storm quest. And it’s easily one of the best Sniper Rifles in the game. Apart from dealing a lot of damage it also has a +300% headshot damage multiplier and +50% armor penetration. So you’re getting a weapon that can easily put down most grunts in a single shot. As a bonus it also comes with a suppressor, so it’s perfect for stealthy builds too. The trade-off here is that you can’t change the scope or muzzle attachment.

SPT32 Grad

The SPT32 Grad is similar to Overwatch in that it deals a ton of damage. It shares the exact same damage multipliers and deals about 70 points more base damage. This is a much heavier rifle though, so it’ll slow you down a bit when in use if you don’t have the Like a Feather perk. You’re also unable to attach a suppressor to this weapon so it’s not the best fit for a stealth build. You can swap out the scope for something that’s a bit more your speed though. Plus this weapon is easy to get since you can buy it at a few gun vendors in Arroyo.

Ashura

The Ashura is an intriguing Sniper Rifle in Cyberpunk 2077. You can find this weapon in a couple places through the game. But the easiest way to get it is with the crafting spec at the gun vendor in Corpo Plaza. It’s a smart weapon so you don’t need to have the steadiest aim in town to use it effectively. Plus it has the highest base damage out of the three weapons on this list.

With that said, it only has +150% headshot damage multiplier and +25% armor penetration. But since this weapon can’t technically guarantee headshots, it’s a good thing that it picks up the damage with its base values. You’ll need Smart Link Cyberware to use this weapon so make sure you grab that first. Also once again you can’t put a suppressor on this weapon so stealthy characters are best sticking to the Overwatch.
