The Archives Tome V

Fans of the asynchronous multiplayer horror game Dead by Daylight have a lot to look forward to. The Archives Tome V launches today, just in time for Halloween. The update brings with it lots of new features. First, the new tome lets players unlock the memories of The Hillbilly, Nea Karlsson, and The Blight. Players will now be able to continue The Blight’s storyline from the 2018 “Hallowed Blight” event, as well as access that previous content once more.

For the first time in the Archive, there will be an exclusive Halloween-themed challenge. Players will be able to interact with Pustula Plants once they are selected in the Auris Web. They will then be able to use the plants to complete new timed challenges. There will also be a 30% discount on Auric Cells for Adam Francis and The Clown between October 21 and October 28 to commemorate the event.

A new in-store collection is also being added called “Hallowed Curse.” This includes a new iconic set for Ghost Face called “Scorched Ghost Face,” as well as an exclusive outfit for David King called “The Ruffian.” There are also two Rift-exclusive sets to obtain. On the free track is the community inspired “Never Stop Slashing” set for the Legion, and the “Unleashed Collection” for the premium track.

A blight is upon us

In addition, from today until November 4, a new Halloween in-game event titled “The Eternal Blight” will take place. This event includes new Survivor and Killer add-ons, including the first ever universal Killer add-on. This add-on is called the “Blight Serum,” and allows Killers to use the “Blighted Rush” power after hooking Survivors. There will also be four unique Halloween-themed charms to collect during the event, as well as a huge sale on outfits at the in-game store.

Last, but certainly not least, is a massive graphics overhaul that will be available for free to all players. These graphical updates will become available through regular content drops. This patch includes a graphics update for all five maps of the MacMillan estate. With all this sweet content available, make sure you don’t miss out by logging in today to download The Archives Tome V update and get slashing.
