Best Necromancer endgame builds in Diablo 4 Season 1 tier list

  1. Bone Spear
  2. Sever
  3. Blood Lance

Although the Blood Surge Necromancer was the best leveling Necromancer build, the tides change for the endgame. Sever is right under Bone Spear, with its great AoE damage and Crowd Control. If you don’t want to let go of your Blood skills, try out the Blood Lance build. It’s great for damage, and it keeps you Healthy. Still, the Bone Spear Necromancer is by far the greatest build for endgame.

Bone Spear Necromancer endgame build

Not only does the Bone Spear Necromancer build provide great AoE damage, but it’s good for keeping enough Essence on hand. The main skills you’ll be using during this build are Bone Splinters, Bone Spear, Corpse Tendrils, Corpse Explosion, Blood Mist, and Bone Storm. Don’t forget about the important Aspects, such as the Osseous Gale Aspect, and Aspect of Exposed Flesh.

Best Bone Spear Necromancer endgame build skills

It’s called Bone Spear for a reason. This is your main weapon, with the most amount of skill points invested. But otherwise, you’ll need to rotate between the other skills for the best outcome. Corpse Tendrils is great for Crowd Control, while Corpse Explosion and Bone Storm are powerhouses. By the endgame, you should have your 50 skill points from leveling.

Level 1-10

  • Bone Splinters 1/5
  • Enhanced Bone Splinters 1/1
  • Bone Spear 5/5
  • Enhanced Bone Spear 1/1
  • Blood Mist 1/5

At the beginning of this build, you’ll want a blueprint of your future endgame build. It’s clear from even the start, your focusing most of your energy into the Bone Spear skill. This will do most of the heavy lifting. Otherwise, Bone Splinters is good for not wasting Essence, and you’ll still have your Skeletons to help you out. You’ll also have Blood Mist to get out of tight situations.

Level 11-20

  • Acolyte’s Bone Splinters 1/1
  • Paranormal Bone Spear 1/1
  • Corpse Explosion 1/5
  • Enhanced Corpse Explosion 1/1
  • Plagued Corpse Explosion 1/1
  • Grim Harvest 3/3
  • Corpse Tendrils 1/5
  • Enhanced Corpse Tendrils 1/1

During levels 11-20, we now want to level out our Basic and Core skills. They’re the bread and butter of this build. What’s new is the Corpse skills, which both help with Crowd Control. Also, we’re starting to get skills that help up generate more Essence than usual.

Levels 21-30

  • Hewed Flesh 3/3
  • Enhanced Blood Mist 1/1
  • Ghastly Blood Mist 1/1
  • Plagued Corpse Tendrils 1/1
  • Serration 3/3
  • Compound Fracture 1/3

You’re still in the process of building up your main skills during this phase. Now you should finish up Blood Mist and Corpse Tendrils. Also, we’re finally getting into some passive skills. Hewed Flesh helps with generating Corpses, while Serration and Compound Fracture are building up your Bone Skill damage.

Levels 31-40

  • Bone Storm 1/1
  • Compound Fracture 3/3
  • Stand Alone 1/3
  • Fueled by Death 3/3
  • Ossified Essence 1/1
  • Memento Mori 2/3

By now, you have your full skills laid out for you. We’ve added the Bone Storm Ultimate, as well as the Ossified Essence Key Passive. You’ll also begin to take skills that help you out when you have less Minions and when you sacrifice them.

Levels 41-50

  • Prime Bone Storm 1/1
  • Supreme Bone Storm 1/1
  • Stand Alone 2/3
  • Memento Mori 3/3
  • Evulsion 3/3
  • Unliving Energy 1/3
  • Imperfectly Balanced 1/3
  • Death’s Reach 1/3

Near the final stretch to reaching the endgame, you’re completing your Ultimate and cleaning up a few passives. You’ll add one more skill point each to Stand Alone and Memento Mori, and invest in all of Evulsion. Now you have quite a bit poured into your Bone Skill damage with Critical Strikes. Don’t forget about the Essence skills, as well as Death’s Reach, for a little bit of aid when striking from afar.

Best Bone Spear Necromancer endgame build Aspects and how to get them

  • Aspect of Exposed Flesh
    • Ability: Lucky Hit: Up to a 10% chance to generate [30-50] Essence when hitting a Vulnerable enemy with your Bone Skills.
    • Location: Legendary item loot drop
  • Splintering Offensive Aspect
    • Ability: Bone Spear’s primary attack makes enemies hit beyond the first Vulnerable for [1.5-2.5] seconds. Bone Shards from Bone Spear deal [30-60]% bonus damage to Vulnerable enemies and pierce them.
    • Location: Guulrahn Slums Dungeon, Dry Steppes
  • Osseous Gale Aspect
    • Ability: Bone Storm consumes up to 8 Corpses to increase its duration by up to [5-10] seconds.
    • Location: Legendary item loot drop
  • Aspect of Grasping Veins
    • Ability: Gain [10-20]% increased Critical Strike Chance for 6 seconds when you cast Corpse Tendrils. You deal [20-40]% bonus Critical Strike Damage to enemies damaged by Corpse Tendrils.
    • Location: Corrupted Grotto Dungeon, Kehjistan

Overall, if you can only have one Aspect from this list, it would have to be Aspect of Exposed Flesh. Because you’re relying so heavily on using your Bone Skills, this Aspect will generate a ton of Essence for you. Splintering Offensive Aspect also affects your Bone Spear skill, and gives you two very useful abilities. Osseous Gale Aspect is great for consuming corpses, to make your Ultimate a little more useful. You should also consider Aspect of Grasping Veins for your often-used Corpse Tendrils.

Best Bone Spear Necromancer endgame build weapons, armor, and gear

Once you’re in the endgame, there’s a much higher chance of you receiving a Unique item. This is, of course, if you’re playing on World Tier 3 or higher, which you should be by this point. If you can get your hands on Deathless Visage or Lidless Wall, you’ll be set for the perfect build.

Deathless Visage is a helm that makes your Bone Spear skill leave behind exploding echoes as it travels, dealing a huge amount of damage. If you enjoy using Shields as a Necromancer, hopefully you’ll end up with the Lidless Wall. This Shield has a Lucky Hit ability that has a chance to create an additional Bone Storm while one is active.

Otherwise, prioritize getting Legendary gear that focuses on your Critical Strikes, health, Crowd Control, and Essence Cost Reduction. It’s also best to insert a Ruby Gem into your Armor for better Maximum Life. On your Weapon, attach an Emerald Gem to increase the Critical Strike Damage to Vulnerable Enemies.

Best Bone Spear Necromancer endgame build Book of the Dead

Since this Bone Spear Necromancer build doesn’t have any more room for the Raise Skeleton skill, you should choose the sacrifice options for all three Minions instead. Sacrificing them gives your Necromancer some unique buffs, so don’t get too upset about it. This also means no Golem, but you’ll be fine without those skills anyway.

How To Reset Your Paragon Board In Diablo 4

Best Bone Spear Necromancer endgame build Paragon boards and Glyphs

As soon as you reach level 50, you’ll unlock the Paragon board. Instead of earning more skill points, you’ll now be earning a few Paragon Points each level. For your Bone Spear Necromancer, here is the best Paragon board order and best Glyph order.

Best Paragon boards for Bone Spear Necromancer

  1. Start
  2. Bone Graft
  3. Scent of Death
  4. Flesh Eater
  5. Bloodbath

On your first board, you should definitely get the two Rare nodes called Knowledge and Preservation. They enhance your Intelligence, while also improving your Damage output and Armor. Then, on the Bone Graft board, the Entomb node is perfect, as it increases your Critical Strike Chance with Bone Skills. You should also go for Calcified, which does the same thing, but also increases your overall Bone Skill Damage. Don’t forget a similar one called Shaper of Bone.

After that, on the Scent of Death board, the Rare nodes Corrective and Ruin both increase Critical Strike Damage. Also, don’t ignore Deathmarked and Preservation, they’re for the Intelligence boost. Next, the Flesh Eater board gives you more Rare nodes like Targeted and Stifle. Targeted increases Damage to Elites and your Intelligence, while Stifle helps your Damage to Injured Enemies and Critical Strike Damage.

Finally, on the Bloodbath board, if you’re looking for the best Rare nodes, go for Hardened and Thick Hide. With Hardened, you inflict more Damage while Fortified, and get more Intelligence. Thick Hide is good for the Maximum Life increase.

Best Glyphs for Bone Spear Necromancer build

  1. Gravekeeper
  2. Sacrificial
  3. Essence
  4. Exploit
  5. Imbiber

Gravekeeper not only gives a hefty bonus to every Rare node in its range, but can have you deal extra damage for every Close Corpse. Next is Sacrificial, which grants a decent bonus to Magic nodes in range. It can also let you inflict further damage with no active Minions.

Essence is another strong Rare Glyph. You’ll deal more Critical Strike Damage for every five Dexterity purchased in range, and it will improve damage to non-Healthy enemies. Exploit will improve your damage to Vulnerable enemies, and Imbiber increases damage dealt while Healthy. Not only that, but as an Additional Bonus, Imbiber can increase  your Potion Healing by a lot.
