When you get to Melve you’ll find a town still recovering from the Dragon attack. But what you’ll also find are some chests with pretty good loot. Here are all the Melve chest locations in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
Where to find every Melve chest in Dragon’s Dogma 2
Like other areas in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you’ll find Melve’s chests dotted around the place in a handful of locations. Look for landmarks in the town or suspicious corners where a chest may be hiding. Additionally, you can see where each chest is located just below.
Chest #1 – Ulrika’s House
When first arriving in Melve you’ll appear inside Ulrika’s House. If you check out the room just behind Ulrika you’ll find a desk and an ornate chest sitting in the corner. This chest contains a Wakestone and a Wakestone Shard which is used to resurrect dead NPCs. You should use these items sparingly but finding one this early will likely be useful sooner rather than later. Especially if you decide to throw the wrong person off a cliff.
Chest #2 – Tristan’s Inn
Opposite Runne’s Apothecary you’ll find Tristan’s Inn. If you head downstairs into the basement of Tristan’s Inn you’ll find the next chest. There’s some gold in this one which you can use to upgrade your gear. This is one of the more useful chests in Melve for giving you some extra money in the early hours of the game.
Chest #3 – Runne’s Apothecary
Enter Runne’s Apothecary and go right to walk behind the tall shelves. You’ll then find the chest in the corner right next to the window. There’s only a single serving of Greenwarish in this one but every little helps.
Chest #4 – Dracanward
Dracanward is the tower with the Ballista on top of it. You’ll find the chest about halfway up the tower up the winding staircase. You can also enter the tower from Ulrika’s House by climbing out of the window on the second floor and walking along the balcony.
That does it for all the Melve chest locations in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Honestly, it’s incredible that a town so devastated still has some chests to find. But if your Pawn’s nonstop chatter has made finding these things a pain, you can always try turning their dialogue off.
