Fall Out Boy Release Their Own Flappy Birds Game

Since Flappy Birds was taken down, numerous developers have been showing their support by creating their own versions of the Flappy Bird game in homage to the original. It seems the American rock band Fall Out Boy were also fans as they have released their own take on the popular game. Continue reading to find out more.

Announced on the bands official website, the game Fall Out Bird will be available to download to IOS and Android as once it has been completed. At first it may seem odd to see a band create a game but it’s really not that uncommon. Of course you have the Guitar Hero and Rock Band games that featured many artists such as The Beatles, Nirvana and Slash but there’s also more unique games like Green Day’s Angry Birds, Radiohead’s new game PolyFauna and now Fall Out Boy’s, Fall Out Bird.

In a recent interview with Forbes, Vietnamese creator of Flappy Birds Dong Nguyen revealed that he pulled the game from the market due to its addictiveness and has no plans to ever re-release it. So while you may not be able to get hold of the original anymore, there are still plenty of similar games to keep you frustrated. We wish Dong Nguyen all the best with whatever he turns his talent to next.
