The new questline will make you choose what direction the Brotherhood of Steel will take to solve this predicament. Players must either seek justice for the missing folks or stay committed to duty. Fallout 76 Steel Reign will also mark the end of the Brotherhood of Steel storyline.

Aside from the quest, Steel Reign will include new locations in Appalachia and special unlockable gear. In addition, a scoreboard for season 5 will be introduced for players to rank up and earn rewards such as cosmetics and CAMP items. You will also get to craft 1, 2, & 3-star legendary items using Legendary Modules from your CAMP.

There are still other things to do before and after Steel Reign releases next month. Players can take part in the Coming Storm limited-time event by completing challenges and helping out the Brotherhood of Steel. This event will run from June 15 to July 6, just in time for Steel Reign’s launch. As for the future of Fallout 76, players will eventually be able to explore post-nuclear Pittsburgh in Expeditions: The Pitt coming in 2022. The Expeditions will be repeatable and randomized missions that take you to various different locations in the Fallout universe.

Those looking to try out Fallout 76 can do so for free during the game’s free week that runs until June 16. If you choose to continue playing the game, you’ll also be able to carry over your progress from the free week. The Fallout 76 Steel Reign update will be free for all players and will release on July 7 for PC.
