Far Cry 4’s Escape from Durgesh Prison coming January

Far Cry 4 - 5

Not the sort of situation you want to be in without your guns, really.

Far Cry 4 will be getting some time trial DLC in January, according to Ubisoft.

Escape from Durgesh Prison sees Ajay and Hurk captured and locked in Yuma’s prison complex. Players will have to complete sidequests offered by Pagan Min in order to recover and upgrade their weapons and skills before the final battle with Yuma’s forces – but it’s not as easy as it might sound. Whenever you die, it’s right back to the start.

It’ll be playable either solo or in co-op, and there’ll be leaderboards available for players to show off just how good (or bad) they are. Escape from Durgesh Prison is part of the Far Cry 4 Season Pass, but will also be available separately.

If getting locked up in a prison, tortured, and then forced to do side-quests as offered by a psychopathic dictator sounds like fun to you, then 13 January is the day to mark on your calendar as that’s when Far Cry 4 will let you Escape from Durgesh Prison.
