Far Cry 6 Yaran Contraband guide: How to get the El Florecer unique pistol in Fontana Fort
Fontana Fort is actually found in the southernmost tip of Far Cry 6‘s El Este region. It’s an island that’s still fairly close to the mainland’s coast. Should you go there immediately? Probably not. That’s because you’ll visit this area as part of El Este’s main storyline arc.
Basically, you’ll just need to complete the main missions in the region until you receive an operation called “Harpoon.” This is an all-out assault with El Tigre and your other pals. As you advance, you’ll find yourself inside the fort and, eventually, the inner courtyard.
The Yaran Contraband chest that has the El Florecer unique pistol is near the radar station. You can see this in the image below. Don’t dawdle for too long because your task here is to eliminate a lot of soldiers while Yelena is hacking the cannons. Once she’s done, you can blast the tower doors wide open to take out Admiral Benitez.
Oh, and after you’re done with the whole “Harpoon” operation, you’ll have permanent access to the Karlito tank. It spews flames that will scorch your enemies.
Anyway, here are the mods of the El Florecer unique pistol in Far Cry 6:
- Soft-Target Rounds – Heavy damage against unarmored targets; weak against armored targets.
- Gunslinger – Improves draw and holster speed.
- Trigger Discipline – Improves aimed weapon damage.
The problem that the El Florecer revolver has is the same problem that every other unique weapon has if they’ve got Soft-Target Rounds. This mod makes the weapon completely useless against elite enemy troops who are wearing helmets and full body armor. Assuming that El Este is the third region that you picked in Far Cry 6‘s campaign, then there’s a good chance that the troops you’ll face will be high-level elites already. By the time you obtain the El Florecer, theres’ no reason to equip it anymore.
