Fort Condor Stage 1 formation and solutions

Since this is the easiest of the stages, it shouldn’t be too difficult for any of the unit formations to take down the enemy. But if you’re still struggling, here’s how I ran my first game.

Hero UnitsCloud, Barret
Ally UnitsOffense Focused
  1. Place two Enforcers on the right side.
  2. Place an Elite Vanguard on the left lane, following up with a Vanguard.
  3. Now that your army has moved up, place a Trebuchet in the middle past your base.
  4. Place a Ranger on the right side.
  5. Place a Cleric on the left.
  6. Place an Elite Ranger on the right.
  7. Place a Vanguard on the left.
  8. Place down another Elite Vanguard near the boss.
  9. Place another Cleric in the middle.

Fort Condor Stage 2 formation and solutions

This is when the difficulty ramps up a bit, and we see new enemies like the Archfiend. Whenever they pass your troops and get to your base, I just place a Vanguard to deal with them.

Hero UnitsCloud, Tifa
Ally UnitsOffense and Defense Focused
  1. Place an Elite Enforcer on the right path.
  2. Place a Cleric behind the Elite Enforcer.
  3. Past your base, place an Enforcer.
  4. Place an Elite Vanguard on the right.
  5. Once the Archfiend makes its way to your base, place a Vanguard beside it.
  6. Place a Vanguard with the Cleric up front.
  7. Place a Ranger behind them.
  8. Place an Elite Ranger on the left path.
  9. Place an Enforcer on the right side.
  10. Place Tifa on the left side on the enemies.
  11. Place an Elite Ranger on the right path.
  12. Place an Enforcer on the left side.
  13. Put Cloud down on either side where most enemies are.
  14. Place an Elite Vanguard in the middle towards the boss.
  15. Put a Cleric behind your troops.

Fort Condor Stage 3 formation and solutions

This stage continues to bring more annoying enemies, such as the Warlord and Wyvern. Typically I finish off the Warlord with a Hero Unit.

Hero UnitsCloud, Tifa
Ally UnitsOffense and Defense Focused
  1. Place an Elite Vanguard on the right path.
  2. Place another Elite Vanguard on the left path.
  3. Place a Cleric behind the right Elite Vanguard.
  4. Once the troops move up, place a Vanguard on the right.
  5. Put Tifa on the right side to get rid of the Warlord.
  6. Place an Elite Enforcer on the right.
  7. Once an Archfiend makes its way to your base, put a Vanguard on it.
  8. Place a Ranger on the left path, then place another on the right side behind Tifa and the troops.
  9. Put a Cleric near that Ranger you just placed.
  10. Put an Enforcer near the middle, and follow it up with an Elite Enforcer.
  11. Place Cloud in the middle on the enemies.
  12. Place a Vanguard at the boss, then an Enforcer on the right.

Fort Condor Stage 4 formation and solutions

Finally, on the last stage of Fort Condor, the Warlock is probably the most difficult to deal with. He had a few annoying moves, one that would halt my entire troops from moving or attacking.

Hero UnitsCloud, Tifa
Ally UnitsOffense and Defense Focused
  1. Place an Elite Enforcer on the right path.
  2. Place an Enforcer on the left path.
  3. Place a Cleric behind the Elite Enforcer.
  4. Place a Vanguard on the left side.
  5. Once an Archfiend makes its way to your base, put a Vanguard on it.
  6. Place an Elite Vanguard on the left side once enemies encroach on your base.
  7. Place a Ranger alongside your Elite Vanguard, and follow it with a Cleric beside them.
  8. Place an Elite Enforcer on the right path, and behind them a Ranger.
  9. Put Tifa on the enemies on the right side.
  10. Place an Elite Enforcer on the left side on the enemy’s side.
  11. Place a Vanguard in the middle by the boss.
  12. Put Cloud on the left side to deal with the Warlord.
  13. Put another Vanguard on the boss, then another on the Archfiend on your base.
  14. Place an Elite Enforcer by the boss, followed by a Vanguard.
  15. Place a Vanguard and an Enforcer to finish the boss.

Fort Condor is just one of many minigames you can play in FF7 Rebirth, another great one being Queen’s Blood. The Queen’s Blood tournament is just as tough, maybe even tougher than Fort Condor is.
