After completing the extremely long fight sequence in Battle Square, you’ll be tasked with catching Cait Sith, who is running about Event Square in the Gold Saucer. Read further to learn how to find all Cait Sith hiding spots in Event Square in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
FF7 Rebirth: Where is Cait Sith in Event Square
Finding Cait Sith around Event Square is not as easy as it seems in FF7 Rebirth since you must take a few steps before you can locate him. Below you will find how to find him quickly in each hiding spot.
Cait Sith first hiding spot
Cait Sith’s first hiding spot is in the toy store outside Combat Square. To get him to spawn here, you must first try to exit the area, and Aerith will say, “We should look around here!” After she says this, make your way into the toy store to find Cait Sith posing as one of the stuffed animals on the shelf.
Cait Sith second hiding spot
The second hiding spot of Cait Sith is located in the central area of Event Square. You may want to start looking for Cait Sith immediately upon entering the area, but you won’t be able to find him if you do. Instead, you must speak to Vincent first, who can be found standing on the staircase leading up to Wonderment Square and Ghost Square.
After talking to Vincent, a short cutscene shows Cait Sith running across the area. Now, you can find him in his final hiding spot.

Cait Sith can be found behind a giant Moogle doll, to the left of the staircase where you spoke to Vincent. Here is the exact location on the map.
Cait Sith is hanging on the doll’s back, and you can interact with it by pressing the triangle button.
Once you find Cait Sith in his last hiding spot, he will run away and you must chase him. The good news is that there is now a waypoint, meaning you won’t have to search. Instead, just follow the waypoint to continue with the quest.
