Where to collect candy in Fortnite to complete Halloween challenge

Fortnite Collect Candy Challenge

To celebrate Halloween, Fortnitemares 2021 has landed in Fortnite Season 8. The map has been decorated to celebrate the season and a new set of challenges have been released, providing some free rewards. Additionally, you can complete these while wearing some creepy cosmetics that continue to be added to the store. One challenge requires you to collect candy in Fortnite, very fitting for the Halloween season. As soon as you know where to look, it will be marked as complete in no time.

The best point of interest you can visit to find candy is Pleasant Park. You may want to land here straight away to make sure you get your hands on the sweet treats. When you arrive, you will see that the houses have been adorned with spooky decorations. Among the exterior decorations are baskets filled with candy. Keep an eye out for the baskets that look like carved pumpkins. To get the candy out of those baskets, you will need to hit them with your melee weapon. You will then be able to pick up all kinds of candy from jelly beans to candy corn.

Treat yourself to some Halloween candy with the Fortnite challenge

To complete the Fortnitemares challenge, you do not have to consume any candy. All you have to do is make sure you have enough room in your inventory to pick them up. However, if you do eat a piece of candy, it will replenish some of your health if you need a small boost.

Upon collecting the Halloween candy and completing the Fortnite challenge, you will earn 2,800 XP for your efforts. Also, you will advance the progression needed to earn your free Fortnitemares cosmetics. With plenty more time left for the Fortnitemares event, who knows what other tricks Epic Games may reveal in the coming days.
