Transition: The Church’s Affairs to the Deaconess’ Gratitude
This is a transition part after you’re done in Wolvendom. There are two ways to reach this point.
The first is by talking to Albert:
- “Wolvendom is a large area…”
- “How can you be certain that she’s out picking Wolfhooks?”
- “But do you still hear her now?”
Albert will leave and you’ll be able to talk to Barbara. She’ll then meet up with you halfway down Wolvendom’s dirt road.
The second is before you even talk to Albert. Instead of telling Barbara that you’ll send him away, convince her to head deeper into the forest.
Follow her to the nearby copse of trees and she’ll ask you to find five Red Wolfhooks (seen below). These can be obtained inside or on tree trunks in the marked area. After talking to her, she’ll wait for you on the road leading outside Wolvendom.
Note: Whatever you do, don’t tell Barbara that this is the perfect place for “two people to be alone together.” She’ll get so weirded out by that to the point that you’ll fail the Hangout Event. Don’t be an Albert!
Anyway, after talking to Barbara outside Wolvendom, go to Mondstadt’s cathedral and speak with Sister Victoria again. She’ll ask you to clean the dirt piles behind the cathedral, so just use your Anemo or Hydro skills.
After this, you’ll reach a point called “Deaconess’ Gratitude.” Here, you’ll have another conversation with Barbara which can branch out into multiple parts.
