Sea Ganoderma is Kaedehara Kazuha’s character ascension material, and you’re able to collect it at the start of the Midsummer Island Adventure’s second act. With new islands emerging from the depths, you can take a look at the coastlines and beaches of the Golden Island Archipelago to pick up these plants. Here’s our Genshin Impact Sea Ganoderma farming locations guide to help you with Kazuha’s character ascension material.

Genshin Impact: Kazuha’s character ascension material – Sea Ganoderma farming locations guide
Sea Ganoderma is fairly easy to find in Genshin Impact‘s Golden Apple Archipelago. These are light blue plants near the water and, in most cases, each spot has two to three nodes that are close together. Anyway, you can refer to the images below for a map of the region with the Sea Ganoderma farming locations marked down.
Northern section: Twinning Isle, Broken Isle, and nearby locations (Challenge Isle and Nameless Isle)
Southern section: Pudding Isle, Minacious Isle, and nearby locations (Forcefield Isle and Shipwreck Isle)
Perhaps the only problem you’ll encounter is that some of these locations tend to be further away from fast travel points. As such, if you’re not too keen on grabbing everything on the map, you can just focus on the ones that are close to the teleporters.
If you wish to avoid the hassle, then I suggest ignoring the ones south of the Eastern Shipwreck Isle (the banana-shaped shoal) and the lone rock formation to the west of Minacious Isle.
In any case, Sea Ganoderma nodes respawn after 48 hours (like other plants and materials). If you do a complete farming run, then you should have around 57 of these. If you ignore some of the spots, then you should still have 40 to 50. Just remember that Kazuha needs 168 Sea Ganoderma if you want to boost him to level 90.
Oh, and don’t forget that Kazuha also requires Marionette Cores. You can learn more in our Maguu Kenki boss guide.
