There are few things more “open world” and “RPG” than fetch side quests, and Hogwarts Legacy is no exception to this rule. The very first fetch quest of the game is ‘Gobs of Gobstones,’ which takes you on a journey around high places in the castle to find several different items and unlock a cosmetic feature in the game. But if you’re not a fan of hunting objects down, fret not — there are easy ways to do it. Here’s how to find all Gobstones and complete the ‘Gobs of Gobstones’ Quest in Hogwarts Legacy.

Hogwarts Legacy: How to find all Gobstones – Gobs of Gobstones quest starting location
Fast travel with Floo Powder to the Defense Against The Dark Arts Classroom. Go down the staircase and you’ll find Zenobia to the left of it.

By talking to her, you learn that fellow students have stolen and hidden her Gobstones in high places all around the school, and she would like you to get them back. Agree to help her and you’ll start the quest ‘Gobs of Gobstones’.

Set the quest as your focus quest by right-clicking it in the quest menu. It makes hunting them down a lot easier from this point out.
Hogwarts Legacy: ‘Gob of Gobstones’ quest – Gobstone #1
The first Gobstone is in the Transfiguration Courtyard above the roof of the stone overhang. For this Gobstone and most others, you’ll need to use Accio to bring it to you and collect it. Do that and you’ll have the first Gobstone.

Gobstone #2
Floo to Central Hall and climb the big staircase in the middle of the room. Then continue up to the tower stairs all the way to the Divination Classroom. Climb to the top of the staircase and you’ll find the next one in the chandelier.

This one is just down the stairs from the last one on the rafters.

Gobstone #4
Floo or walk to the Ravenclaw Tower Floo Station. You’ll see it right there in the hall on top of one of the wall pillars.

Gobstone #5
Climb the Grand Staircase near your current location until you find the door leading out of the staircase room. Exit through the door and the next one will be in that room atop the wall frame.

Gobstone #6
Proceed through the hall you are currently in to find the Trophy Room at the end of it. From the center of the room, spot the last Gobstone on one of the Trophy Shelves.

Hogwarts Legacy: How to find all Gobstones – ‘Gobs of Gobstones’ quest reward
After claiming it, you’ve officially found all six. Floo back to the Defense Against The Dark Arts Classroom and down the stairs again back to Zenobia. You can choose to give her Gobstones back or keep them for yourself. Either way, you complete the quest and unlock the Orbicular – Violet Wand Handle, the very first Wand Handle of the game. Try it on your wand by selecting the wand from the gear screen.
