How big is Assassin’s Creed: Mirage? Map size and game length

So many important questions.

There are plenty of Assassin’s Creed games that are simply short and others that are impossibly long. Some of the newer ones have gigantic maps, while older ones are a lot more linear in size. But what about Assassin’s Creed: Mirage? Depending on what type of gamer you are, you may be wondering if you can handle another AC game. I’ll answer how big Assassin’s Creed: Mirage is in map size and game length below.

First of all, to get this out of the way, the game’s storage size will only be 40 GB for the PC version. This should give you an idea of the game’s scope. If you’re wondering how big Assassin’s Creed: Mirage is, the map size is comparable to Paris in Assassin’s Creed Unity, and the game length will be just around 20 hours.

According to Easy Allies, who got the chance to talk with Ubisoft this summer, you can compare Mirage’s map size to Paris in AC Unity, or Constantinople in AC Revelations. If you’ve played either of those two games, you get the idea. But if you didn’t, it essentially means this isn’t at all as big as an open world like Valhalla or Odyssey.

This is a much smaller game and map than the recent ones we’ve had, as Ubisoft wants to bring back the feeling of the original AC games. If you’re someone who’s a little overwhelmed by open-world games nowadays, Mirage is a perfect game size for you.

Seeing as the map size is relatively small, the time it takes to finish Mirage is also short. Luckily, it should only take you around 20-23 hours to complete Mirage. This is according to Fabian Salomon, the game’s producer.

Assassin’s Creed: Mirage is clearly a much shorter and tighter experience, but that doesn’t mean it’s not as worthwhile. There will be a main quest, and presumably many side quests to venture on. But not too many where you’ll feel bogged down by the amount of things to do.
