How many heists are in Payday 3?

None of these are listed on New York's TripAdvisor.

Whether you’re a seasoned Payday veteran or a newcomer to the world of crime, there’s a heist out there waiting to be your new favorite. But how many heists are featured in Payday 3 at launch? This guide covers everything you need to know about Payday 3’s heists, including a comprehensive list of each mission and when the gang is planning new ventures.

How many heists are in Payday 3? | Full heist list

Payday 3 currently features eight heists, each unlocked from the very beginning. These heists include:

  • No Rest for The Wicked
  • Road Rage
  • Dirty Ice
  • Rock The Cradle
  • Under The Surphaze
  • Gold & Sharke
  • 99 Boxes
  • Touch The Sky

While this may seem like a small number compared to Payday 2, we’ve found that Payday 3’s heists are generally far more extensive and involved this time around. There are also multiple cutscenes with an overarching story, with each heist unlocking new “story videos.”

If you’re itching for more goodies to steal, don’t worry. Starbreeze has promised plenty of new heists post-launch, with four major content drops planned between Winter 2023 and Fall 2024. We’ll also meet new heisters, gain new skills, outfit some fresh cosmetics, and equip even more weapons.

No Rest For The Wicked

No Rest For The Wicked Payday 3

No Rest For The Wicked is your typical bank heist and the perfect (re)introduction to Payday. Stealthily slip past the guards and disable security, or go in guns blazing and scorch your way into the vault.

Road Rage

Road Rage involves looting an armored transport loaded with precious elements. Due to the nature of the heist, this one can only be completed by going in loud. You’ll have time to prepare and take hostages before you ambush the truck, so make sure to put your brain into gear from the start.

Dirty Ice

Dirty Ice is another traditional, clean heist, but a little more tricky than No Rest For The Wicked. Ashton Fine Jewelry looks like a mom-and-pop store from the outside but serves as a hub for imported diamonds. You can tackle this one entirely in stealth or mask up from the start.

Rock The Cradle

Payday 3 leans into future tech far more than its predecessor, and Rock The Cradle is a shining example. In this heist, it’s up to the gang to burgle cryptocurrency stored on a crypto-wallet inside the Neon Cradle club.

Under The Surphaze

Remember Art Gallery from Payday 2? Under The Surphaze is that on steroids, featuring modern art and an abundance of security measures. You can get creative and complete this heist stealthily or pull out a weapon and start blasting. Violence is an art form, too, right?

Gold & Sharke

What’s worth more, money or revenge? In Gold & Sharke, you can have both by robbing New York’s Gold & Sharke bank for its treasures and information on Patricia Sharke — the woman who stole all of your hard-earned Payday 2 cash. Weapons ablaze or sneaky beaky, it’s up to you.

99 Boxes

99 Boxes features a lot of boxes, as the name suggests. Steal them and keep them cool to preserve their value. You can tackle this heist in any way you choose, mixing up loud and quiet if that’s your style. It’s certainly mine.

Touch The Sky

Touch The Sky is the final mission in vanilla Payday 3. To secure your riches, you’ll need to steal a high-tech encryption key from the penthouse of Mason Laurent. This heist unlocks the final story video, setting up the future of Payday 3.
