How to activate the boat horn near the factory on Rebirth Island in COD Warzone

All aboard!

Warzone is filled with things to do aside from killing each other. From the many contracts you pick, the added element keeps things fresh. However, easter eggs are also something that can be found on the maps. For Rebirth Island in Warzone, you can make a boat horn go off near the factory. To learn how to activate it, you might want to read this guide.

To activate the horn is pretty easy, however, you may walk by it because the prompt is kind of sensitive. It took me around three matches to locate the prompt because I moved a mere inch away from the desk. First, as the title says, either head towards the factory or dive into it. The reason why is because there’s a Biometric Scanner located in the factory. So why not kill two birds with one stone?

Once you leave the factory, the ship will be across from it and can easily be boarded. But if you’re coming in straight from the sky, just land anywhere on the boat. Before going for the horn, I suggest looting the area — you might find the SOA Subverter here. It’s a great place to loot up quickly if you’re dropping into Warzone with nothing but a pistol.

After you’re comfortable with your setup, make your way to the cockpit of the ship. It’s near the backside of the boat and will have ladders going up to it. You’ll know you’re in the right spot because of the large wheel in the middle of the room. Walking past the wheel, head towards the microphone on the desk. You’ll get the “Horn” prompt which will let you make it go off.

From experience, the moment you the horn sound, you’ll become a magnet for enemy players. I got ambushed when I was using the horn, so make sure when you let the sound go off once, wait and see if enemies come to investigate.

Rewards for activating the boat horn

After pressing the horn button a couple of times this will not only make players gravitate towards you, but you may get a supply drop. So it could be worth your time.

If you do this early during the game, you may be very strong out of the gates. But again, make sure you take note of your surroundings. The boat is most of the time a busy POI. So prepare for a fight even if there isn’t one.

The boat is also a great area to complete certain missions in Warzone. Our guide can help you organize which ones to prioritize.
