While there aren’t many measurement systems in Cyberpunk, there is one that players can now change. That being, the speedometer units on any vehicle you drive. To change speedometer units in Cyberpunk 2077, head on over to the settings. From here, navigate to the Interface tab and right before HUD Visibility, you’ll see an option for your driving units. Players can change from Imperial (MPH) to Metric (KPH) on the fly whenever they want. However, it seems this change does have some limitations.

For example, if you go first person in a vehicle, your main HUD will disappear in favor of the beautiful interior setups of cars and bikes. Most of the vehicles have working speedometers in their interior, and these will not change units of measurement even if you do so in the settings. Which can be a bit of an immersion breaker if you decide to give yourself a headache by driving in first-person. But it seems for the most part people are just happy they can change their speedometer on the main HUD screen.

The 2.1 update for Cyberpunk 2077 seems to be the last major update before developers move on to their next anticipated project. What’s more, being able to change the units of measurement in Cyberpunk is a feature fans have been asking for since the game’s release back in 2020. Thankfully, players can finally change the speedometer units of vehicles in the game. And doing so is a simple click of a button away.
