There’s a lot to do in Modern Warfare Zombies. Some challenges are easier, such as killing a certain amount of zombies or using a vehicle. However, on the other hand, some challenges will have you scratching your head. One of which is doing toxic damage in Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ), and if you want to know how to do it, we have the answer.
Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ): How to do Toxic Damage
In the open-world Zombies mode, you can do toxic damage in a couple of ways. The first way is to use Experimental Gas, and the second method is by equipping your weapon with the Brain Rot mod.
Locating Experimental Gas
To use Experimental Gas, you must be around level 18 and complete five challenges. So when you create a loadout at that point, you can take the grenade with you before the match begins. But, if you don’t want to wait, you can find the grenade randomly in-game. While it does appear in random spots, I’ve found it Loot Caches and it also seems like Zombies drop it as well. The Experimental Gas can also be found in any lootable spot, there’s quite a bit of them, so you can run into one quickly.
To get toxic damage, simply throw the grenade into a crowd of zombies. On top of that, if you shoot the zombies while they’re in the cloud of gas, it will count towards the challenge.
Getting Brain Rot
Coming across this weapon mod is more of a challenge as it appears in certain moments. But once you get one, gameplay changes a lot. For Brain Rot, you can craft it, and find it in an Aether Cache or Rewards Rifts. So you may have to do in-game activities to force it to appear.
Brain Rot is a cool mod, it can allow any Zombie you shoot to become friendly and start attacking other zombies and NPCs for you. If you manage to get one in a match, try your hardest to Exfil with it, because it’ll be worth saving it especially if you plan on going back to harder places in the game.Â
