How to find and kill Warlord Keres in Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ)

Target sighted.

Warlord Keres is a chemical warfare specialist holed up in a base in Modern Warfare Zombies. It’ll be hard to do this without a gas mask, so come prepared.

Like Hokkaebi, Keres is difficult to find if you don’t know where to look. Warlord Keres is located in the Killhouse at Orlov Military Base in the northeast part of Urzikstan. Use the image above to find the exact location.

Finding Warlord Keres’ location is easy, but getting in is difficult. I recommend approaching with a squad instead of solo because the enemies’ difficulty won’t scale to you. There are multiple heavily armored soldiers, snipers, turrets, traps, and poison gas grenades to avoid. If you move with purpose, which means quickly but thoroughly, you’ll infiltrate Warlord Keres’ base.

I’ve tried defeating Warlord Keres solo before and I failed. The snipers and gas traps are disorienting, which is why I recommend going in with a squad. For all things in MWZ, a squad is the way to go. It’s a much more forgiving (and fun) experience. Special Zombies may attack while you’re infiltrating Keres’ base which is just one more reason why you shouldn’t attempt this solo.

You can’t lower your guard once you’re inside the base. A gas inside disables your sensors and thermal weapon scopes. Again, approach cautiously, but not too slowly as doing that may get you cornered and killed.

Warlord Keres is inside. When the coast is clear, unload all of your bullets into her to defeat her. She has poisonous smokescreen and hard-hitting weapons, so keep to cover and plate up when you can. With a bit of precision and a few gas masks, you’ll defeat Warlord Keres and claim your prize.

The last thing you want is to get ambushed by soldiers or zombies, so keep a lookout whose job it is to make sure your exit is clear. Once you’ve all gotten the loot for killing Warlord Keres, get out of there and try your hand at taking out Hokkaebi.
