For every release of an Assassin’s Creed game, Ubisoft tends to call back previous entries in the current release. In Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, this stays pretty much the same and is always a welcoming feature for long-time fans. Much like the Assassin’s Creed 1 filter that you can enable, several easter eggs are referencing the older games in the series. In Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, you can unlock the originals, the legendary master assassin Altair’s outfit. This sleek and minimalistic design has become an icon not just in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, but also in gaming as a whole. Assassin’s Creed: Mirage – How to get Altair’s outfit
Most outfits and costumes can be unlocked by finding them in the world like the Abbasid outfit. However, some are unlocked through different means like outside of the game. Altair’s outfit is earned by buying it through Ubisoft Connect. Don’t worry though, it’s not bought using real-life money, but rather Ubisoft Credits. These credits are earned by completing challenges in Assassin’s Creed: Mirage and other Ubisoft games.
To unlock his outfit, simply head into Assassin’s Creed: Mirage. Navigate to the Ubisoft Connect option in the main menu. It should be at the bottom of the main menu.

Next, a tray will open up from the left-hand side, there will be several options. However, make sure it’s showing the options for Assassin’s Creed: Mirage. It should automatically do it for you. If the panel is on a different game, just slide over to Assassin’s Creed: Mirage. After, look for the rewards icon in the menu below. Press it, and you’ll get all the rewards in the game that you can unlock. Altair’s outfit should be the second one on the right and will cost 60 Ubisoft Credits.

When you buy it, you’ll get a prompt that it’s available in-game. Load into Assassin’s Creed Mirage, and head into the in-game menu. In the menu, go to the inventory tab and then navigate to the costume icon. Click the icon, and his outfit will be there ready to use.

You can also get the outfit without launching the game. Launch Ubisoft Connect, and go games tab at the top of the program. Click Assassins’s Creed Mirage. Once you’re here, on the left you’ll see a few options. The one you want is rewards. Press it and then scroll till you see Altair’s outfit and press “Get it for 60 credits”. After, head back into the game and follow the steps above.
What perks are with the outfit?
In Assassin’s Creed: Mirage Basim gets outfits and costumes. The Altair outfit is a costume and has no perks. However, if you have an outfit on, and put on his robe, the perks of the outfit you’re wearing are still active. In other words, his costume is purely cosmetic. But there seems to be play gameplay mechanics with costumes. If you wear a disguise, you can sneak into areas that you’re not allowed in, you won’t alert anyone because of the disguise. So you can play creatively if you choose that way.
