Honey is a vital resource to collect in Palworld, mainly for breeding and producing new Pals in your base, and here is how you can get this resource.
How to collect Honey in Palworld
Honey is generally harder to get than the other resources you must collect in Palworld. However, four Pals will drop Honey for you when defeated. They are:
- Cinnamoth
- Warsect
- Beegarde
- Elizabee
Cinnamoth is going to be the easiest Pal to defeat among the four. They can be found in plenty around the Cinnamoth Forest fast-travel area. They have a significant habitat extending up to the Ancient Ritual Site fast travel point and the Lake Center fast travel point. You will generally find Cinnamoths of Levels 15-20 around this location.
The next easy Pal to defeat to get Honey is Beegarde. Beegarde is a versatile Pal with many Work Suitabilities, making her an excellent addition to your base. Their habitat is spread across the Snowy Mountains beside the Mossandra Forest fast travel point.
Elizabee and Warsect are the other Pals who also drop Honey once defeated. These two Pals are incredibly hard to defeat as both require you to reach at least Level 25 to beat them easily. An Alpha Elizabee can be found inside a cave around the Lake Center fast travel point.
How to farm Honey in Palworld
Roaming around, fighting high-level Pals, and collecting Honey whenever you need it might be a very hectic process, which most players, including me, do not prefer. Luckily, there is an easy way to farm Honey on your base using the ranch.
The ranch is used to make different Pals produce products by gazing inside. Beegarde, when assigned inside a Ranch, can produce Honey for you by gazing inside. For this, you will only need to take up the tough job of defeating a Beegarde by traveling to its habitat. Once you are done capturing one, you can have an endless supply of Honey just by using this Pal in your ranch.
What is Honey used for in Palworld?
Honey is only used for making the Cake in Palworld. It is one of the main elements for making a Cake in Palworld using the Cooking Pot. The primary purpose of Cake in Palworld is to carry out the breeding process of the Pals. However, it can also reduce your and your Pals’ hunger.
The Cake is a bit difficult to make as it requires 5 Flour, 8 Red Berries, 7 Milk, 8 Eggs, and 2 Honey. Among all the ingredients needed to make a Cake in Palworld, Honey is the hardest to get your hands on.
Once you have made a Cake, place it inside the box in front of the Breeding Farm. Afterward, put the Pals whom you want to fuse inside the farm. They will eventually consume the Cake kept in the box and breed a new Pal for you. If you put multiple Cakes in at once, the assigned Pals will give you the same type of egg for each Cake in the box.
