Somehow the Dragon doesn't mind this.

The Light Dragon Fang is one of the less obvious materials you can gather in Tears of the Kingdom. This is mostly due to the Light Dragon not appearing to have any fans. However, if you strike the right spot on the airborne serpent, you can claim one of its sharp teeth for your own. So let’s quickly go over how you can get the Light Dragon Fang in Tears of the Kingdom.

Before you get started on this mini adventure you’ll first want to figure out how to find the Light Dragon. Even if you’re staring at it right now, you’ll need to be able to find it again to gather other materials like the Light Dragon Claws and collect its Horns. So make sure you know exactly how to track it down before you start gathering its materials.

Once you’re ready to get the Light Dragon Fang, it’s a pretty simple process. You’ll want to glide right up to its face and aim your bow right at its mouth. If you aim too high you’ll wind up with a Light Dragon Scale which you don’t want. So shoot an arrow right at its lips in order to increase the chances of getting the Fang. If you do end up missing, just load up your last save and try again. Bear in mind that you can only collect one resource from the Light Dragon at a time. For instance, collecting this Fang means you won’t be able to get a Claw, Horn, or Scale until some time has passed.

The Light Dragon Fang is indeed a sneaky material to find in Tears of the Kingdom. But it’s also one of the easier to get from the Light Dragon when you know where to look. Once you’ve gathered the necessary materials you’ll be able to upgrade the Champion’s Leathers which provide a ton of defense.
