Final Fantasy 16: How to unlock the Scholar’s Spectacles

The reason why you’ll want the Scholar’s Spectacles in Final Fantasy 16 is because they give you a permanent 10% EXP boost. This means that regardless of the activity, you’ll always receive 10% more EXP from all sources when wearing the Scholar’s Spectacles.

Since the Scholar’s Spectacles are extremely useful at the beginning of Final Fantasy 16 when you are grinding levels, you’ll want to know how to get the Scholar’s Spectacles. Unfortunately, the only way to get the Scholar’s Spectacles is to pre-order Final Fantasy 16.

Final Fantasy 16 is out now which means it is impossible to claim the pre-order bonuses — which ultimately means you can’t get Scholar’s Spectacles if you didn’t pre-order Final Fantasy 16.

Currently, there is no way to acquire Scholar’s Spectacles in the game. While this may change at a later date, Square Enix is rewarding players who purchased Final Fantasy 16 early by giving them an exclusive item that grants a substantial EXP boost.

How to redeem Scholar’s Spectacles and other pre-order bonuses in Final Fantasy 16

If you did pre-order Final Fantasy 16, then you are eligible to redeem the Scholar’s Spectacles and other pre-order goodies. The only way to claim your final Fantasy 16 pre-order bonuses is to finish the prologue, which is about two hours long.

From there, open your menu and go to “System.” From here, select “Redeemable Items.” It’s here that you’ll find and be able to redeem all three pre-order bonuses including Scholar’s Spectacles.

With Scholar’s Spectacles redeemed, go to your inventory and equip them. Now, you can hunt down the Morbol Flower while enjoying a permanent 10% increase to all EXP gain while the Scholar’s Spectacles are on.
