Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 is off to a flying start, and of course, there are some brand new skins and emotes for players to use, including the free Nanner Ringer one, which we’re going to run over how to obtain in Fortnite.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1: How to get the Nanner Ringer Emote
It’s not often that Epic themselves releases an emote for the players to redeem on their own, and with the release of the brand new Chapter, we got a fresh one to use. The Nanner Ringer commemorates the beloved Peely character in Fortnite, which has mysteriously been taken this season, and it’s almost like we’re calling the iconic banana.
To redeem the emote, players will have to act swiftly, as they’ve released the emote for the first 25 million players to redeem the code, and of course, only one redemption per account.
Here’s how you can redeem the free Nanner Ringer emote.
- Head over to https://www.fortnite.com/redeem
- Once here, enter the following code
- BANANNANANANA
- If you have your accounts properly connected, the next time you enter Fortnite, the emote should be in your inventory

If you redeem the emote before other players, then you’re in luck, as we cannot see Epic re-adding this emote soon or even into the item shop. So, act quick, as 25 million may appear like a lot of people, but they did report that over 100 million players checked out Fortnite OG, so there’s no telling how fast people will act for free cosmetics.
