Playing games with friends is always a good time because you know each person’s style already. In shooters, you often can create interesting moments for all. XDefiant employs this as well and makes the game immersive. Since the arena shooter requires strategy due to the objective-based style of gameplay, playing with friends could be a better idea. You can communicate things much more fluidly as opposed to playing with strangers. Before you and your friends jump in with some of the best weapons in XDefiant, knowing how to add friends is essential. Read on to learn how to invite and add friends on XDefiant.
XDefiant: How to invite and add friends
Adding friends is surprisingly easy. Like most free-to-player shooters, the option is the home page. Here’s a quick rundown of what you’ll be doing
- Press Social.
- Click on Add Freind.
- Add friends by searching for them using Ubisoft Connect.
- Click on the name to add the player to your party.

As soon as you load into XDefiant, navigate to the top right-hand side. The Social Button should be there.

Upon clicking it, you’ll see three menus one for recently played another for your friends, and one for your party. The one you want to interact with is the middle one: Friend Menu.

After pressing this button, the Ubisoft Connect panel should pop up from the side. In this menu, you can search for players using their Ubisoft name. However, in order to add friends, they must have a Ubisoft account.

Once they’ve accepted your friend invite, they will appear in the Friend Menu. To invite them to your party, click on their name and there will be a window that pops up. Press the invite button, and then you’ll see them added to your party list that’s on the left.
Now that they’re in your party, simply head back to the main menu and load up a game as if you’re playing solo.
