Once players get done with their required first round, you’ll need to complete a total of 60 rounds to unlock ranked. But with a few tips, as well as a few things to keep in mind, you’ll be cashing out in ranked sooner than you think.

When it comes down to it, you’ll be looking at putting in roughly 10-15 hours of grinding other game modes before reaching ranked in The Finals. And while this might seem like a lot, you can shorten that time a bit simply by playing the right modes. Not counting ranked, there are three other game modes as of writing this article. You have, of course, unranked tournaments which act as a shorter precursor to ranked, then there’s Quick Cash, and finally, Bank It.

But from the information I’ve found and the games I’ve played, Bank It is the fastest game mode to complete. Furthermore, unranked tourneys may give you more rounds per match, but this might not mean it’s a good mode for our purposes. Namely, the unpredictability of making it through all three rounds, as well as the amount of time you’ll need to put into one match totaling about 30 minutes.

So, in terms of quickplay modes, Bank It not only provides you with a good learning experience of The Finals’ gameplay but is perfect to quickly unlock ranked in The Finals. The objective of Bank It is essentially a modified version of Destiny 2’s Gambit mode. Players have to earn coins through various means, and then deposit them at one of the rotating cash-out zones.

If you are like me and don’t have many players on your friends list playing unranked modes, solo queueing is going to be a bit more difficult for quickly unlocking ranked in The Finals. Bank It ends whenever a team gets a total of $40,000 deposited, or when 15 minutes go by. If you find yourself without a proper team, your best bet is to treat the mode like an aim trainer, focusing solely on fighting teams and less on completing the objective.

This is done to allow other teams to reach that cash threshold faster, therefore ending the round sooner. However, if you so happen to have a squad with you, get those cash-outs and get them quickly, and you can even finish the round in 5-10 minutes. There’s no reason to not play Bank It if your only goal is unlocking ranked as soon as possible. Due to its short overall time limit, combined with its potential for even shorter rounds, ranked will be in your sights sooner than you think.
