Once you’ve completed one of the four Regional Phenomena, talk to Jerrin in the Emergency Shelter under Lookout Landing. She will speak about a strange voice from beyond the hole in the wall she accidentally created. This will start the ‘Who Goes There?’ quest. There’s now an open entrance to a secret area, called the Royal Hidden Passage. If you crouch down and crawl through, you’ll be first met with some rocks blocking your path.

It’s up to you how you want to get through these rocks. The slower option is using a hammer to break them, but you can also bomb them. If you don’t have any Bomb Flowers, I recommend you use the Time Bomb Zonai devices. You’ll need to do this a few times, while following the source of the mysterious voice. After awhile, you’ll find a room with a strange Horned Demon Statue.

If you talk to it, you’re forced into letting the statue take one of your hearts. You can ask for it back, and it will ask back whether you’d like to receive stamina or a heart container back. This is how the swapping works. The Horned Statue goes on to explain any new deal you can make with it.

You can sell a heart container or stamina wheel for 100 Rupees, and buy one back for 120. Basically, you’re only paying 20 Rupees per exchange. Go back inside the shelter and talk to Jerrin to complete the quest and earn 20 Rupees. And that’s all it takes, now you know how to swap hearts and stamina in Tears of the Kingdom!
