While swinging and using the Web Wings around New York City is extremely fun, sometimes a location is too far away and you need to Fast Travel. But how do you unlock Fast Travel in Spiderman 2?
Just like the in the first game, you can Fast Travel to all regions in Spiderman 2. But this time, Fast Travel isn’t limited to one location, and you must unlock it in a certain way. Let me explain how it’s done.
Spider-Man 2: How to Fast Travel
You won’t be able to Fast Travel right away upon your first playthrough in Spider-Man 2. You’ll have to unlock this feature, and it’s a lot easier than you may realize. How you can unlock Fast Travel in Spiderman 2 is by progressing district progress until it gets to the second reward.
Take a look at your map, and view one of the many districts. Upon completing activities in each district, you’ll gain progress towards unlocking its three reward tiers. Tier one are two Rare Tech Parts, Tier two is Fast Travel, and Tier three are two Hero Tokens.

The interesting thing about Spider-Man 2 is the fact that once you unlock Fast Travel in a district, there isn’t one singular spot you must travel to. Instead, you can pick anywhere in the district, then press and hold Triangle on your controller to Fast Travel instantly! This is the power of the PS5.
But what activities can you do to unlock Fast Travel? As you slowly progress through the main missions in Spiderman 2, you’ll unlock unique activities to complete, marked on your map. For example, find Photo Op locations, crystals of Marko’s memories, or complete EMF Experiments. There are plenty more that become available throughout your playthrough, so keep completing activities in districts to eventually gain the ability to Fast Travel!
