Fortnite’s brand new season is here in the form of Chapter 5 Season 1, and players worldwide are checking out all the new skins, and weapons. However, one skin in particular, Solid Snake, will be highly wanted by players.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1: How to Unlock Solid Snake
Fortnite is no stranger to collaborations, and within the brand new season comes incredible ones, such as Peter Griffin and the iconic Solid Snake from the Metal Gear Solid franchise.
This new skin was notably not in the battle pass, so players are wondering how they’re going to unlock the skin or if it’ll be purchasable within the item shop. Thankfully, players won’t need to shell to much money for the Solid Snake skin, as it technically will be a part of the battle pass, but in a different way.
Instead of getting Snake through normal levels, players will have to complete specific challenges later on during the season to snag the skin. As of now, Epic hasn’t noted in Fortnite when this skin is going to be unlockable, but we can assume sometime in the New Year towards the season’s end.

While we’d like to be able to use the skin right away, we can always speculate that Epic intends to add some mythic weapon centered around Solid Snake when he becomes unlockable. We’ve seen this for other characters in the past, and even during the current season, as we have the Peter Griffin Society Medalion, which goes hand in hand with his mythic weapon, which is very deadly.
