One of the great things about Mortal Kombat 1 is the different stages in which we can kombat in. No, this time we won’t get to interact with our surroundings. To unlock the last stage of the Kampaign, you will have to complete the Kampaign. Go figure! It doesn’t matter what difficulty you play through it, you just have to finish the Story Mode. It is easier said than done, especially since the last section of the game is the assault on the Pyramid of Argus by Liu Kang and all the other Titans from other timelines. You will have to face other Titans from other timelines, which are hybrids between two famous characters. You will find Scorpion-Kung Lao hybrids, a Johnny Cage Mime, and even genderswapped versions of Main Roster characters.

This stage marks a great point in the history of Mortal Kombat, where the final battle of Mortal Kombat Armageddon took place and where the first scenes of MK9 happened. It is really interesting how Mortal Kombat 1 reinterprets Armageddon, with a battle between different existences and timelines. One side wants to prevent their destruction, while the other tries to reign supreme across the whole multi-verse of Mortal Kombat. Let us hope that NetherRealm Studios knows how to move forward after such an encounter in their first title of this new timeline.
