Where to get more Energy Cells in Tears of the Kingdom

You know those Crystalized Charges you can buy using Zonaite? Well, you’ll need at least 100 Crystalized Charges to buy one Energy Cell from a Crystal Refinery. You can find Crystal Refineries across Hyrule, one of the locations being right at Lookout Landing. But where can you buy Crystalized Charges?

Visit any Forge Construct to buy Crystalized Charges. One of the best early locations to do this is in the Mining Cave on Great Sky Island. But the better place to do it is when you discover the Great Abandoned Central Mine in the Depths.

One of Link’s Batteries makes up three Energy Cells. Whatever contraption you’re running, the energy will run out quickly depending on how powerful it is. This is when knowing how to upgrade your Batteries in Tears of the Kingdom comes in handy.

Once you have enough Crystalized Charges, go to a Crystal Refinery and talk to the Construct to make the exchange. They’ll take 100 Crystalized Charges for one Energy Cell. The holder on Link’s hip can actually hold up to eight Batteries, which is a lot of energy!

Remember, you can find Zonaite in caves, or throughout the Depths. And to buy one Crystalized Charge, you’ll need to exchange it for three Zonaite. Although getting all those Batteries will be a challenge, you’ll be grateful for having them.
