Cyberpunk 2077: How to ride the NCART metro (2.1 update)

First off, you should wait until you get a text announcing the metro system, and V will pull up their new metro card. I’m pretty sure you won’t be able to ride the metro without this card, so wait until you get it first. Now with your card in hand, how you can use the metro system in Cyberpunk 2077 is by traveling to an NCART station and choosing to ride the metro.

Head to any fast travel station, and look at your map for the new purple metro buttons. You can fast travel to these points, or you can walk into the stations yourself from the street. But if you fast traveled there just to hop back on for a metro ride, walk to the elevator ahead and select the departures floor.

Once the elevator stops, walk out and find the entrance to the departures, which will ask whether you’d just like to fast travel or ride the metro.

Of course we want to ride the metro! Pick that option, and you’ll see four transit route options. Knowing where you want to go can get sort of confusing, but the metro lines show up on your usual map if you want to map it out yourself. Pick whichever line you want to ride, and there you have it!

While on the metro, you can choose where you’d like to look out of. Perhaps you want to stare out of the window and admire Night City. Once you believe you’re ready to get off, press ‘F’ to exit at your next stop. You can easily check where the next stop should be while looking at your map.

Another thing that CD Projekt RED added to the 2.1 update was mobile music. Press ‘Z’ to start listening to some tunes while riding the metro. Now you’ve had the full metro experience!
