The release of the PlayStation 4 exclusive, inFAMOUS: Second Son, has boosted sales of the PlayStation 4 by 106% in the UK, compared to sales the week before.
The Xbox One also recently enjoyed a boost in console sales when the Microsoft exclusive Titanfall was released earlier this month. However, the boost in sales the PS4 has had are greater than Microsoft’s although the Xbox One is more expensive than the PS4 and we don’t have exact figures yet so the two consoles might well be more or less equal. The war rages on (which is great for us gamers).
The last stats to be released reported that the PS4 was outselling the Xbox One by a ratio of 1.5:1. Since those figures were released Microsoft have cut the price of their console so it could be anyone’s game at this point.
Second Son has taken the top spot of the UK game sales chart which means Ground Zeroes is now at number two and Titanfall is at three.
